Uber Eats cyclist envisioned accelerating on M5 in Oldbury

A cyclist conveying a Uber Eats knapsack has been envisioned accelerating along a motorway in the West Midlands.

Watch Administrator at Oldbury Fire, Adam Joyce, tweeted the picture asking the organization to "instruct riders" so his group "aren't lifting a HGV off them".

Mr Joyce said the man was cycling along the M5 in Oldbury, close intersection 2, on Tuesday morning.

Uber said it was examining and that "the security of clients, dispatches and the overall population is a best need".

In light of Mr Joyce's tweet, one client stated: "Wow no words".

Another resounded this including: "Wow simply wow who in there (sic) right personality feels that is protected."

Cyclists accuse route application for M6 trip

A Uber representative stated: "We're as of now researching this episode. All dispatches are required to stick to the Thruway Code and any report of a messenger breaking street laws can bring about being expelled from the Uber Eats application."
